Order status and buyer protection

Every purchase on Sellvory is protected from payment through delivery confirmation. This guide explains the order lifecycle step by step.
Order statuses
Each order shows a status label in your dashboard: Pending, Processing, Shipped, Delivered, Completed, or Dispute.
Status changes depend on seller actions and your confirmation.
- •Pending: Payment received, seller has not started processing.
- •Shipped: For physical goods, tracking must be shared in chat.
- •Completed: Delivery confirmed; funds released to seller.
When does buyer protection apply?
Funds stay on-platform from payment until delivery confirmation.
- •Do not confirm if the product did not arrive or does not match the listing.
- •Open a support claim to request refund or reshipment.
Order chat
Each order has its own chat channel for delivery details.
Chat records are used as evidence in dispute review.
- •Do not share personal email or phone numbers.
- •Do not accept off-platform payment links.
- •Keep all communication inside chat.
Returns and cancellations
Digital returns depend on seller policy after delivery; physical goods are covered for damage or delay.
- •Approved refunds are credited to your balance.
- •Partial refunds are available for missing or damaged parts.
