Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), Sellvory (sellvory.com) is the data controller. This Disclosure explains how your personal data is processed, stored, and transferred.
Definitions / Parties
Definitions: Unless stated otherwise, terms in this document have the same meaning as in the User Agreement.
Data Controller: Sellvory (operator of the sellvory.com platform)
Data Subject: User / Member, Buyer, Seller, Affiliate
KVKK: Turkish Law No. 6698 on Protection of Personal Data.
Disclosure: This text informs data subjects about processing, storage, and transfer of personal data under KVKK and related legislation. Privacy Policy: Site policies that inform members and are accepted at registration.

Below we explain personal data categories, processing purposes, and legal bases for everyone who uses the Sellvory platform.
Identity data
Your data is processed under KVKK Article 5 for: legal requirement; contract establishment or performance; legal obligation of the controller; legitimate interests where fundamental rights are not harmed. Where these do not apply, processing may rely on your explicit consent.

Data storage and transfer
Your personal data is stored and processed on secure servers of our platform infrastructure providers (EU / Turkey compliant data centers).
Data shared in sales transactions
When a Buyer creates an order or completes payment, they accept that their name and contact details (phone, email, etc.) may be shared with the Seller.
When a Seller receives an order or sale on their listing, they accept that their name and contact details may be shared with the Buyer.
This information is shared for the following purposes:
- •Managing order processes smoothly
- •Enabling communication between Buyer and Seller
- •Creating a communication channel when the platform cannot mediate
How long is your data retained?
Retention periods are determined as follows:
- •If law sets a retention period, data is kept at least that long. Otherwise, as a rule up to 10 years from contract performance or termination.
- •An additional 6–12 months may apply for late court or authority requests; data is then deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.
- •Members who only buy or top up balance (no sales): data kept at least 6 months from last transaction.
- •Members with successful sales: data kept at least 3 years from last sale.
- •When processing necessity ends and legal periods expire, data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized upon request.
Your rights as data subject
Under KVKK and related legislation you have the right to:
- •Learn whether your personal data is processed
- •Request information if processed
- •Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly
- •Know third parties to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad
- •Request correction if incomplete or inaccurate
- •Request deletion or destruction under KVKK conditions
- •Request notification of correction/deletion to third parties
- •Object to automated analysis producing adverse results
How to exercise your rights
Send requests regarding your personal data to support@sellvory.com by email.
Under the Communique on Application Procedures, your request must include name, surname, Turkish ID (or passport for foreign nationals), address, email, phone, and subject matter.
The request must be clear; supporting documents should be attached.
Requests must concern yourself; acting for others requires special power of attorney.
Unauthorized third-party requests will not be processed.
Response time
KVKK requests are answered within 30 days of receipt by the relevant department.
If rejected, reasons are communicated via your stated contact channel.
Validity
This Disclosure is effective as of its publication date.
Sellvory may update this text. The current version at sellvory.com/legal/privacy-kvkk takes effect upon publication.
